Welcome

Welcome to KATS Kreative Life.  My initials spell KATS, and I have always been creative, from coloring and cross-stitch as a kid to owning my own craft business to being in charge of all the crafts in VBS at our church for about 10 years.  So that is where the name comes from.  I have 3 kids from 12 – 24 and have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 30 years.  We stay busy with work, church, family events and the kids’ school and sport activities.  I also have an organizing business that is focused on helping to get all the paper in your house organized through workshops, coaching and one-on-one sessions.

I worked as a merchandiser for the last 15 years which means I drove from store to store taking care of certain brands in those stores.  Sometimes I worked as a dedicated sales representative which means I only took care of one brand, other times I took care of a lot of different brands on each visit to the stores.  All this meant a lot of time driving.  At first I listened to books on tape, then books on CD until I wore out all the players in my vehicles.  I was then stuck with only the radio until I discovered podcasts.  Podcasts have been my ‘go to’ means of entertainment, education, and spiritual insight for the last several years.

Through the podcasts I was introduced to the world of blogging.  I have been thinking about starting a blog for quite a while.  My full time job ended last week, so I thought I would get it started while I am in between jobs.  I plan to write about a variety of subjects including saving money, organizing, vacations, cooking and crafts.  I hope you enjoy coming along on this journey with me.
